Police broke door to gain entry. Door broke but the lock stayed locked
This Mul-T-Lock deadbolt was stronger than the door. When this door was opened with force, the lock held and held. Eventually the door itself buckled under the incredible force that was applied. Look closely at the photo: The deadbolt is still locked!
Our dedicated staff attended the site and realized that a new door needed to be ordered. A custom fire rated door can take over a month to arrive. In the meantime we fabricated a temporary repair to the door. We cut the door square and build a wooden patch for the door. This patch is intended to keep the door operational until the new door arrives.
